Te Whariki
Awapuni Preschool follows the national early childhood curriculum as set out by the Ministry of Education called Te Whariki. Te Whariki is the national curriculum for all Early Childhood Education centre’s in New Zealand. The aim of the curriculum is for your children to grow up as compenent and confident learners and comminicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in the sense of belonging and in knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.
